Brennon's Baptism

 I can't believe Brennon is 8, his baptism was such a special day. On the way home in the van he said, " I am so excited I decided to get baptized" we to are so excited for him.  He has such a special spirit and we are so grateful he was sent to us!

 Brennon got to get baptized with his new friends Kael, this was fun for both of them.

 We were so blessed to have my parents and Devin's entire family come to support Brennon.  We are so grateful for our families!

Brennon's Soccer Season

 Brennon loves to play soccer!  He was lucky enough this year to play on a team with some of his good friends, and had a blast.  His team worked really hard and improved a lot by the end of the season. Brennon played the goalie a lot and did an awesome job!

Brennon's Class Play

 Brennon's class did a play called Tikki Tikki Tembo.  Brennon had a main roll in the play and did such a good job.  He remembered his lines and talked loud.  We were so proud of him.

Brennon and Mrs. Christian.  Brennon also has such a wonderful teacher this year.  Mrs. Christian is such an amazing teacher and really cares about Brennon.

Keaton's Kindergarten Patriotic Program!

 Keaton did a great job in the kindergarten program this year.  They sang lots of patriotic songs and even did a little dance for us, it was really cute!

Keaton and Miss Tia!  Miss Tia has been such an awesome teacher, and loves Keaton so much.  I hope Keaton will always remember his sweet kindergarten teacher.

Brennon is 8!

 Brennon had quite a party this year!  He invited all the boys in his class and a few others, it ended up being a group of 15 kids.  They had so much fun, playing basketball, eating pizza, and playing with his new presents. 

 We are so proud of you Brennon, you are such a great boy. Mom and Dad feel so blessed to be your parents, and hope you had a special birthday.

This year Brennon got a robot lego set, a new baseball bat, his scout uniform, a new suit for his baptism, his very own set of scriptures, and lots of fun toys from his friends.

Easter 2012

We had a nice Easter this year, the boys were excited about the candy they received and they also got new sunday shirts & shoes.  We had a nice ham dinner with party potatoes, ham is one of the boys favorite meals! We are so grateful for Easter and that we get to celebrate Christ and the gift he has given us.

We've Moved!!

A big stress has been lifted from our shoulders and we are truly grateful.
We bought our first home 5 years ago, and about 2 1/2 years ago our home started having problems, we quickly found out that many of the homes in our neighborhood were having problems. It turns out that our neighborhood was built on bad soil and the builder did not prepare the soil correctly to build on it. This has been such a stress over the last couple years, because not only was our home worth way less then what we owed on it because of the housing market crash, but now the home was slowly sinking.
Just before Christmas we decided to have our home inpspected, once we had a bid for the repairs I called our lender and told them our situation and to my surprise they told us that this hardship qualified for a short sell and told me to list our home.
We included in the listing that the home had setteling issues that would need to be addressed, it was important to us that all involved knew what was going on with the home, we wanted to be upfront and honest.
We had an offer within a couple weeks and we closed on the home last Friday!
We are now renting from some good friends of ours and are truly grateful that they moved out early so that we wouldn't be homeless. The home we are renting is just around the corner from our old house, so we were able to stay in the same ward and keep the boys in the same school, so grateful!
